CodeBLUE is an international cooperation project that rethinks tourism and services education through the lens of the sustainable blue economy. It responds to European priorities on climate action, environmental protection, and the green and digital transition by promoting responsible use of marine and coastal resources while supporting economic growth and local communities across Europe’s coastal and maritime regions.

The project introduces an innovative, cross-disciplinary and learner-centred educational approach, embedding sustainability as a core principle of tourism performance. Through a modular curriculum, digital learning tools and open educational resources, CodeBLUE equips higher education, vocational and lifelong learning providers with the skills and capacities needed to develop future professionals capable of driving a resilient, inclusive and sustainable blue economy.
